Mike Katz
Mike Katz has been providing strategic tax and financial solutions to his clients for over 15 years. He began his career as a staff accountant for Ellin & Tucker, a regional accounting firm in Baltimore. After two years, he acquired an accounting firm in Ellicott City, Maryland which he grew over the next eight years by 50%.
In 2011, the firm moved to Pikesville, where he acquired and renovated a historic firehouse. His specialty is helping small businesses in the real estate, professional services, contractors and retail industries. He’s an active community member involved in several non-profit organizations. When not in his office, Mike can be found cycling around town or on the racquetball courts.

Jeff Cohen
Jeff also has a strong niche in the technology sector and assists his clients in developing and maintaining the necessary systems to secure significant tax deductions and credits. He has performed many Research & Development Tax Credit Studies resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax credits. He helps his technology clients on the tax side of their fundraising issues and has been involved in several startups sold to Fortune 500 companies, including a 22M sale to Microsoft.
Jeff is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is on the board of several local not for profits

David Steingroot
David joined the firm in 2011 and is responsible for all the firm’s attestation engagements. He previously worked as a senior manager in the Auditing Department of a National Accounting Firm where he was responsible for providing accounting, auditing, attestation, and consulting services to a wide variety of entities including professional service firms, manufacturing, transportation and other operating entities.
